- SoftBank Mobile launches S!Town powered by Gemini’s eXplo platform to millions of users in Japan, giving them their first experience with a 3D community platform to chat, communicate and shop across wireless devices.

- Gemini expands into China with the launch of Gemini Mobile Technologies, Beijing as a wholly owned foreign enterprise.
- Global presence expands with the opening of offices in Singapore and Italy.
- Lucent OEMs Gemini’s Hyperscale Messaging Center and launches the Anypath® MMSC.
- China’s AirSilk China; Taiwan’s i-Gam; and Japan’s Think Plaza and Bandai add their support to Gemini’s GCX platform.
- SmarTone-Vodafone of Hong Kong launches Gemini’s HyperScale Messaging Center and uses system during the 2005 WTO Congress.

- 2003
- Gemini expands into Europe with Gemini Mobile Technologies UK Ltd.
- Vodafone Japan deploys Gemini’s HyperScale® Messaging Center, and begins operating the world’s highest capacity multimedia messaging service (MMS) system.
- Maxis in Malaysia licenses Gemini’s multimedia handset platform.
- Motorola licenses GCX 1.0 for its v750 handsets sold in China and Hong Kong.
- 2002
- Sharp and Gemini begin to work together to enter global markets.
- Vodafone Global selects Gemini to design, customize, and test a new pan-European multimedia service platform.
- FarEasTone in Taiwan and SmarTone in Hong Kong both select Gemini’s design services as well as Gemini’s first version of GCX to launch the Super-iStyle and SmarTone-iN services respectively.
- Gemini signs on content providers including Sega, Capcom, Namco, Konami, Bandai Networks, G-mode, and Taito, for content development of the Vodafone Live!, FarEasTone, and SmarTone services, based on Gemini’s GCX 1.0 version.
